An unprecedented land development spanning 81 million square metres; Dubai Waterfront is bigger than Manhattan or Beirut. This master project, expected to extend Dubai s coastline by 820 kilometres, is slated to be the largest waterfront development in the world. Dubai Waterfront has, as one of its key components, Madinat Al Arab that is anchored by Al Burj, one of the world's tallest skyscrapers.
The planners of this mammoth project aim to create a world-class destination for residents, visitors and businesses in the world's fastest growing city. Dubai Waterfront' is carved into myriad zones with mixed-use, commercial, residential, resort and amenity areas.
Dubai Waterfront encompasses 440 square kilometres of water and land projects, an area 7 times the size of Manhattan, USA. Adjacent to Dubai World Central International Airport, with full access to Sheikh Zayed Road, Jebel Ali Free Zone and Abu Dhabi, this city by the sea will be home to 400,000 people.

Location
Dubai Waterfront is located on Dubai s last remaining surfing reef, the only point-break in United Arab Emirates. It features the 75kilometre long Arabian Canal' that will run inland from the coast, in addition to a major harbor. The dockage provides direct sea access for trade and entertainment. When complete, this seafront project will have over 100 different waterfront developments and 150 master-planned communities.
